If you need an escape from the rigors of daily life, Triad River Tours has the perfect solution. The Middle Fork Snoqualmie Whitewater Rafting Trip is a Class III-IV whitewater run. It is the closest available whitewater experience to Seattle (starts from North Bend). The half day trip features a technical whitewater run with boulder gardens. You will weave through wild wooded scenery. On top of that, the incredible scenery of the upper river and catered lunch will ensure that you’ll have an awesome day in nature. An inflatable kayak trip is also available on the river’s lower section for a more intimate experience.

Information About the Snoqualmie River
The river originates form several mountain lakes in the Cascade mountains to the West of Snoqualmie Pass. The Snoqualmie River boasts some of the best wave running in the early summer. It is a popular kayaying river year round and is a treasure those who spend time in its iver flows. This is an excellent river to get a great whitewater ride and to get out of the city for a short adventure.
With consistent and continuous class 3 “boogie water”, the Snoqualmie River keeps your heart rate up through the first 3 miles of the winding river. As it explore into an ancient river canyon, dramatic views of forests will be visible. The crux of the run comes in the rapids known a”house Rocks”, a Class 4 rapid at most flows. which requires precise maneuvers from the guide and strong paddling from the crew.

Location
Triad River Tours is located in Bellingham, Washington which is 2 hours away from North Bend. However, you never have to go to Bellingham. Trips are arranged over the phone or online and for the Snoqualmie River trips, the meeting place is in North Bend at Torguson Park. Triad also offers other trips on rivers closer to Bellingham (which is on Interstate 5 up by the Canadian border) such as the Sauk River if you are looking for a little variety. There is also an advanced trip on the Skykomish River. This meets in Gold Bar which is 46 miles and 1 1/2 hours drive from North Bend.
