The Bang Bang Bar, referred to primarily by its local nickname the Roadhouse, was a popular tavern in the southern part of Twin Peaks, Washington, not far from the “Welcome to Twin Peaks” sign. It was liked by bikers, loving couples, and lovers of good music.
Twin Peaks filmed the exterior shots of the Roadhouse, Bang Bang Bar and The Bookhouse in Fall City, WA at the real life Fall City Roadhouse Restaurant and Inn. This is just 3 miles below Snoqualmie (White Tail) Falls. It happens that the filming location for the Bookhouse is directly behind the location for the Roadhouse/ Bang Bang Bar (Fall City Roadhouse).
Twin Peaks Roadhouse and Bang Bang Bar Exterior
The Fall City Roadhouse Restaurant & Inn was the filming location used for the exterior of The Roadhouse in all seasons of Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me. The show actually used the side of the building for the front of the Roadhouse. You can purchase Roadhouse and Bang Bang Bar T-shirts inside.
The Bookhouse Exterior
The Bookhouse Boys were a secret society formed to combat the darkness surrounding the town of Twin Peaks.
If you walk around the Roadhouse (Bang Bang Bar) from Twin Peak “front” side, then you will come to the main parking lot. There is a small house along the fence. The Bookhouse location is just past the donation bins alongside the fence. It is private property and part of a trailer park so don’t try to climb the fence for a closer look inside the fence.
